How to ...

It's surprisingly difficult to work out which is the actual download button on the Quaife's last Theorem page on Smashwords.  I was clicking on a big green download button and nothing was happening.  In fact, that big button just moves you down the page, and there's another link you have to click on.
Also, not everyone has an e-book reader on their computer.  Adobe do a free one called Digital Editions, which works on Windows and Mac.  If you're on Linux, then Calibre is your best bet.

And, finally for now, it's official from Angela in the Smashwords marketing department that there will be no Kindle (MOBI-format) version of the book made available on that site.  So I'll have to come up with an alternative approach.  In the mean time, I can e-mail it to anyone interested and they can transfer it from their computer to their Kindle by following these instructions (if that doesn't work, blame Amazon, not me).
